Product Description

The 33SW from Sunangel, based on the OKI C series of desktop printers, is an LED device capable of printing designs onto dark or coloured media using white toner. Designed for craft applications, the 33SW can print onto media up to 220gsm allowing you to create custom white designs for everything from restaurant menus, wedding stationery, invitations and even greetings cards. The toner even possesses fluorescent properties, adding extra impact to your designs when exposed to UV light sources. At a fraction of the cost of other white toner devices, the Sunangel 33SW is an affordable alternative for anyone looking to add white toner as part of their design process.

can this printer print envelopes? and on textured card?

- Hi Chloe, Thanks for your question. The Sunangel 33SW is based on the OKI C332 model and as such can handle the same media as this machine. You can scan envelopes in the following sizes: C5, DL, Com-9, Com-10, Monarch. You can also print on papers up to 220gsm in weight from the MP tray, so if the card is within specifications it would be suitable. However, the results would be best on smoother cards. - Hi Lynn, Thank you for your question. We do not carry stock at all times of the 33SW as it is a specialist item. We instead order them as and whenm required directly from Sunangel, this means that the lead time it 7-10 days from date of order. The 33SW is a model specifically for use in printing white onto dark media and only available to Printerbase. The 33TW is based on the same base model, but designed for transfer printing specifically. The key difference is the inclusion of a RIP software for processing the image to print in CMY and white and also that it has a different toner order, white being last for flood coating. If you are looking to print just white onto dark, then the 33SW is suitable. If you are looking for a T-shirt transfer printing, then you would need the 33TW. However, we do not supply the TW version ourselves, so you would be best to contact Sunangel to find the best method of purchase. I hope that helps, Thanks Chris Hall The Printerbase Team

Can this printer also take black toner and be used for normal printing as well as white? I want to be able to print white on dark A4 textured paper ideally up to 240g is this possible and does the heavy paper have to be sheet fed one at a time?

- Hi Sue Thank you for your question. The Sunangel 33SW cannot take a white toner, a simulated black is made from the four toners. It can print up to 220GSM though. Hope this helps Thank you Adam The Printerbase Team
