Samsung printer cartridges can be recycled through the HP Planet Partners Program. An account is required to recycle old Samsung printer toner but this free provides hassle-free and easy Samsung toner cartridge recycling.
Samsung laser printers include a waste toner cartridge which needs replacing after a set amount of prints. Printerbase recommends they should be replaced instead of cleaned. This is done in a similar way to changing a Samsung printer toner cartridge.
1. Open the front cover.
2. Remove the Samsung laser printer cartridges with the handles on the toner.
3. Remove the waste toner container behind the toner tray by pulling on its handle.
4. Gently push the new waste toner cartridge into the printer with its handles.
5. Reinsert the laser toner cartridges, matching the colours correctly.
6. Close the front cover.
Instructions on changing your Samsung toner cartridges can be found in your user manual, supplied with your printer. If you don’t have a paper copy of the user guide this can be downloaded from the HP support website. On some models, there is a picture guide on the Samsung printer cartridge cover. HP have now acquired Samsungs printer business and supports all Samsung printers. Alternatively, follow the simple steps in our guide below to change your Samsung laser printer cartridges.
1. Turn the printer on.
2. Press the cover release button, usually at the top of the front cover and open the front cover.
3. Remove the old Samsung toner cartridge from the printer.
4. Unpack the new Samsung toner and gently shake it side to side to distribute the toner evenly.
5. Remove the Samsung printer cartridge protective cover on the back of the toner.
6. Insert the new Samsung laser printer cartridges into the printer matching the colours on the toner to those labelled on the printer.
7. Close the front cover.
