The instructions in your user guide delivered with your new Kyocera printer is the best place to find out how to replace your toner cartridge. This can also be downloaded from the Kyocera support website. Alternatively, follow the simple steps in our guide below to change your toner cartridges for your Kyocera printer.
1. Make sure your Kyocera printer is turned on.
2. Press the front panel door release button to open the front door housing the Kyocera toner cartridges and drums.
3. Press the tray release button and slide out the toner container tray.
4. Depending on your Kyocera printer model. There’s no tray to remove from the printer, just lift the toner cartridge and slide it out.
5. Gently shake the new toner 4 or 5 times to distribute the toner evenly.
6. Insert the new Kyocera toner cartridge, and push it down gently until it clicks into place.
7. Close the front panel door.
There are a few methods to check which Kyocera toners are compatible with your printer.
• The best way to know is to check the part number of the current toner in your printer.
• Check the user manual supplied with your printer, if you don’t have this it can be downloaded free from the Kyocera website.
• Search for your Kyocera printer model or toner part number on our website www.printerbase.co.uk.
• Find and download the PDF for your printer on our website. This should list any compatible toners for your printer.
