just got printer this week have always used hp, this is excellent however yesterday front printing tray stopped working a bit concerned as had it in use 4 days i will see if i get a replacement as must be faulty

After using HP printers in our office for over 20 years we thought we'd try the Samsung, as we had heard good reports forom our IT support company. Having now purchased around 10 in the past 12 months I can safetly say we have not been disappointed! Good quality, relaible and robust. Whilst the print cartridges are not the cheapest, you do get what you pay for.I'd have no hesitation in recommending both the printer and Printerbase (Who give us excellent service and value!)

As usual Printerbase were outstanding in upgrading when my initial choice was out of stock. This printer was easy to set up and produces excellent print quality results at speed. When I can locate the user manual I am sure I will find many more things the Samsung M3820ND can do! Very happy!

This is a fast and economical printer. I am using it at uni. The USB cable setup was really easy and the software installed without a problem. Nice clear printing and at a fraction of what it costs from library services. Printer base delivered it quickly and with the cash back this was great value. Very pleased.

The order was speedily completed and the equipment was, as with most Samsung equipment, just as described in the advertising material. It has upgraded a previous model and was easy to install and has worked well from the first job. Minor disappointment with booklet printing but single copies are looking really good and the problem may be with me rather than the machine.

With the cash back this works out as the cheapest printer in its class when you add in the fact it comes with a toner. It means when it breaks it is more cost effective to buy another one than have it fixed. Not very eco friendly but sadly true. We are a business and use 5 printers and Samsung are very reliable and fast and the toner is competitively priced.

- Hi Elizabeth, thanks for getting in touch. Yes, the Samsung M3820ND will print on to envelopes with a maximum thickness of 220gsm. You will have to use the multi-purpose tray for this type of printing as the normal paper will only take up to 163gsm and won’t be suitable. Thanks. Grace. The Printerbase Team
