This is 2nd M2855FW we have bought recently. Easy to set up on a network, good printing and copying functions. Scan quality is good, but so far I have been unable to find a way to set a default for quick PDF scans and so avoid having to go through several unnecessary selection stages.

Very neat and tidy for a printer that can deliver some many features as this. Great quality, very quick at 28 ppm. It comes with 1200 pages of mono printing which is enough to last me along time. Toner is quite cheap and compared to my other colour laser printer it is a lot cheaper and your not as worried about printing lots of pages because it is a lot cheaper to run. This printer also has the added benefit of fax which is essential to our business. If you want a printer which is very flexible e.g you can print off mobile devices such as ipad and nexus though air play and NFC look no further. I am delighted with my purchase and printerbase were most helpful with directing me with my purchase. Delivery was super quick and printerbase's pricing was very fair. Thanks again printerbase !!!!!

What is the warranty? Is it pick up and return?

- Hi Asgard, Thank you for your email. This machine has a return to base warranty. Therefore if you do experience any problems you would need to return this to a Samsung warranty centre. I am a disabled crafter and make cards for personal use looking to buy a laser printer with scanner that will work for toner foils to adhere the foil to card when put through a laminator???

- Hi Maria, Thank you for submitting this question. We are asked fairly often about toner foiling and especially which machines are suitable. Unfortunately, we don’t have a definitive recommendation for machines that will work with toner foiling due to the changes that manufacturers are now making to the toner in their machines. Previously we had a number of customers buying certain older Samsung models as the toners happened to lend themselves well to the process. The newer models of Samsung (as well as other brands) use a different formulation of toner that contains more wax, this helps the machines to produce glossier prints at lower temperatures, but has the effect of making it less adherent to foils. We have performed some limited testing on our own machines in the office with very inconsistent results and have yet to find a solution we know for certain works. What I would suggest is perhaps sending you some samples from some of the machines we have on site for you to test with your own foils and laminator to see if the results are satisfactory?
