I purchased the DCP-9020CDW colour as a companion to my Brother MFC 8520DN, which I have had for the past two years. I only consider Brother devices, which I find to be reliable and as a small business I need match larger organisations in producing quality documents and find that the pricing is very fair for such a quality product. I will shortly be looking for an A3 printer, and yes, it will be a Brother.

I bought this for my home office after a succession of bubble jet home printers failed. I have the larger version in my office at work and it has performed perfectly for three years, which is why I went for Brother again. So far this DCP-9020W is performing really well. Apple Airprint set up worked seamlessly from my MacBook Pro, iMac, iPad and iPhone5, also from home laptops etc.

This printer replaced a Samsung which broke within a year. This printer is unfortunately a bit larger, but it offers a straight-through paper path and duplex printing. Unlike the Samsung, this supports Postscript, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Printing. It also was detected and installed automatically by Windows over the network, unlike the Samsung which needs really poor quality software. This printer has a colour touchscreen which is nice, but it would be better it there was also a hard copy button as the copy button on the screen can be a bit finicky. If this printer holds up for a few years I am completely satisfied. I definitely don't recommend Samsung.

A good printer, but some problems with software, particulalrly printing from a MAC wirelessly. The MAC has problems finding the printer and seems to need to re-add it each time it has been turned off. Am still awaiting a reply from the company on how to resolve this, so support has been a bit lacking too. However print quality and speed good.

Overall, a good quality printer. The output speed is extremely fast from start-up and prints good quality prints with solid, vibrant colour. However, the printer takes a long time to install and I am yet unable to manage to get the computers and the printer to scan to file wirelessly, thus, some aspects of the software are difficult to use. Since printing, I have noticed that the printer is prone to paper jams, even after 'fanning' the paper reem before entry. It is also quite bulky in size, and weighs a lot, requiring good support. Mobile printing, such as cloud print, I have managed to connect my phone and printer, however, printouts sent appear blank or simply 'muffled' lines. The ADF scans quickly but doesn't scan duplex. The printer also doesn't have software to allow controls from PC

Being a business user our prime focus is always on quality and reliability and no doubt brother had won that trusted relationship. We recently upgraded to the Brother DCP-9020 via printer base and I must say I am very impressed with the product and the quality of service delivery. highly recommend
