Xerox Phaser 6600DN A4 Colour Laser Printer - DISCONTINUED

I bought this printer primarily to print out images, photographs, and drawings. I am very happy with the choice I made. The colors are vibrant and the pantone color match feature it a big plus. I am amazed at how good this printer is. That's not to say I would expect any less of Xerox, it's just that I didn't know what to expect. The quality is very good with excellent colour (better than my old Canon) and it is quick & quiet. I use it with my AppleMac which is a great combination.

Ordered this for our Rotary charity so we could print flyers and our bulletin without paying daft prices. So far, it has been fantastic (and the price was good). It's fast and easy to install on a wired network. The WiFi option is extra. Great service from Printerbase. I've had to reinstall the printer driver once.

Masses of multi language startup instructions of taking out of the box but none had any details of how the screen works. a simple one page menu specification would help a great deal. Linux drivers are around but I do not work from the CD. Duplex works well and intelligently, bypass tray needs to be called each print. Colours are good and first print out from cold is acceptable with running speed about right, I will find out in due course whether this printer has reasonable running costs.

Have purchased a number of different makes of printer but always go back to the Xerox brand. The Xerox 6600DN printer is very fast. First page is out before I walk to the printer. The print quality is excellent. The machine is quiet and the drivers are great under Windows and OS X 10.8. There are a little bit more expensive but definitely worth the extra money.
