Samsung CLP-775ND A4 Colour Laser Printer - DISCONTINUED

...it's still an excellent printer. Believe it or not we use this in the home, but we wanted a trouble-free colour printer and that's what it's been. I've just had to change out the black printer cartridge which, after many years use is beginning to streak - exactly what you'd expect of any toner cartridge as old toner starts to stick together. New cartridge and printing is back to as new. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to print more than a few pages a week!

This is our first venture into Laser colour printing and having investigated the running costs plus the paper handling capabilities of several printers the Samsung CLP-775ND appeared to be the perfect printer for us. The reviews on the Printer Base website also helped with our choice. So far we have not been disappointed. The printer was easy to set up and adding it to our network was simple. The colour reproduction is good and speed of printing perfectly acceptable and it?s not too noisy for a small office.

Bought to replace our old laser printer, gets a lot of use on a daily basis,but so far happy with the Samsung. Consumables seems reasonably priced, runs quietly and has a good size paper tray, so far would recommend.

I bought this on the strength that Printerbase use CLP-775NDs in their own office, and of the availability of reasonably-priced compatible cartridges. I've been using it only for a couple of weeks, but initial impressions are good. - It's a sturdy bit of equipment that feels pretty well-made. - It was very easy to set up, with the cartridges clicking neatly into place. Unpacked and up and running in half an hour. - Clear print; obviously not what you're going to print your finest photographic enlargements on (no laser is), but great for running off flyers, which is why I wanted it. - Very good value, especially with cashback. Slight negative is that I've found it pauses every so often on a longer run, but it's not a big problem for me.

I assessed purchasing this printer on through life cost based on an expected life of 70,000 copies over 5 years (which is what my previous printer did) and this is one of the cheapest overall; some others were over twice the through life cost. After a couple of weeks it is working very well and the only glitch seems to be a small software issue concerning pagination when printing multiple copies double sided, but since I only do this rarely and the workaround is easy, I don't regard this as a major issue. I test printed some photos and as expected the quality is not up to that of an inkjet but, again, that is as expected. Overall, well worth the money for fast, flexible colour printing of office documents.

We've replaced an OKI C5400, which we've had for nearly 10years. This is far superior, miles apart in speed and quality. I think Samsung are really shaping the printing market.

Excellent printer and excellent service from Printerbase. We did a fair amount of research first and found Printerbase offered the best price. They delivered very quickly which was vital for us. The printer is very good. Thus far, we are very impressed with the quality of output and speed of operation. We use the printer connected directly to the router and the setup was very easy. We successfully print from Apple iMac, Powerbook pro, Windows emulation on Mac and from PC. The paper handling and duplex mode have been excellent so far without errors.

It's still early days - only had it 3 weeks - but the CLP-775ND has lived up to everything we were expecting: quiet, fast, good-quality double-sided printing; PCL and PostScript emulation and easy to use over an internal network. It also switches quickly to a low-powered mode which genuinely is low power meaning we don't have to keep switching it on and off. Colour is good though not photographic quality - but few laser printers are. The big selling point for us is the stated low running costs, especially in colour. Last but not least, good fast delivery from PrinterBase!
