Product Description

The Ricoh SP-2240 is a compact, fast A4 document scanner for busy offices, reception desks and departments that need to digitise paperwork reliably. It scans at up to 40 pages per minute, or 80 images per minute in duplex, at 200 or 300 dpi. That turns stacks of invoices, contracts and forms into clean digital files in moments. It connects to a single workstation with a simple USB-C cable and needs no network setup, so it’s easy to install and ready to use straight away.

Its 80-sheet automatic document feeder handles a wide range of media. It takes thin 27 g/m² paper and heavy 413 g/m² card, plus embossed plastic cards up to 1.4 mm thick. Documents can be as small as 50.8 x 50.8 mm, such as receipts and business cards, or as large as legal size. Long-page mode handles documents up to 6 metres in length. Ultrasonic multifeed detection and real-time image monitoring help prevent double feeds and damaged originals, so important documents go through safely and nothing is missed. The expected daily volume of 6,000 sheets makes it well suited to heavy everyday use.

The SP-2240 comes with Ricoh’s PaperStream software. PaperStream IP drivers automatically clean up images, detect page size, rotate pages and remove blank pages. PaperStream Capture and ClickScan make it quick to scan to searchable PDF and other common formats. TWAIN, ISIS and WIA drivers mean it works with most document management and line-of-business applications. It supports Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server and Ubuntu Linux.
