Oki C301dn A4 Colour LED Printer - DISCONTINUED

What an incredible price for such a versatile printer. Obviously, you need to look at Total Cost of Ownership and the toner kits are not cheap but it compares quite favourably and even using very basic quality paper, the resulting copies look and feel high quality. How nice to be able to praise a product in this way.

Got this printer after my second Xerox Phaser 6110 died before I could even use up its starter toner -- so far, the OKI seems like a solid purchase. It's heavier and larger than the Xerox, but also seems to be a bit more solidly-built. First-page print time is quicker, too, and while I haven't yet tried photo-quality output, documents and block-colours come out a bit more vibrantly than on the Phaser. Linux / CUPS installation went without a hitch as well, which is a plus. So: so far, so good!

After my second Xerox Phaser bit the dust halfway through the second set of toner carts, I decided for a change. The OKI is quite a bit bigger and noisier than the Xerox, but I want to use is for printing! To be fair, the OKI is in a totally different class thank my old Xerox, but the promotional price got me a medium level printer for budget level pricing.Print quality / speed / finish is excellent and I have access to additional features my price bracket wouldn't normally allow. (Paper saving duplex, manual feed / output tray for thicker card stock without bending, improved management tools etc.) Still learning how to get the max from it, but looks to be a fine piece of kit. Service from PrinterBase also top Dollar!

Another great purchase of a great printer from an excellent company. Quality and speed of print is exceptionally good. Setup is nice and easy. Network was a must for us. Duplex is an added bonus at this price level. As always with PrinterBase, it arrived at the office the next morning before I did, and as usual, PrinterBase staff are incredibly helpful.
