had one of these printers for coming on a year now and it has been nothing but trouble when printing colour jobs. jobs with heavy colour jam in the fuser unit nearly every time. Lexmark support have not helped. engineer visited us and replaced the fuser unit which made no difference. shame really as we have been very happy with the many Lexmark printers we have used in our offices for the past 15 years because of how reliable they have been.I suspect we have wasted more toner and paper on jams than jobs printed with out issue.

I bought the Lexmark C925 over two years ago. It's a great workhorse and it's brilliant having the A3 capability. The print and colour output are good. It's a little noisey between prints due to the fan running before it goes into sleep mode which is silent. The frustrating aspect of the printer it jams frequently when you have colour images close to the edge of the A4 paper (upto around 1 cm). The paper concertinas inside the machine and sometimes rips as well leading to lengthy clearing of the removeable roller mechanism. I understand you never get full bleed printing but this printer seems to have a design fault where it cannot cope with printing as close to the edge as it allows itself. My solution is to print documents at 95% to give more border and this stops the jamming. Not ideal.

Bought as replacement for old C920, the C925 does all the same things and cost considerably less. Probably less sturdy construction (so a bit lighter) which I wouldn't expect to be a problem.

- Hi David, Thanks for getting in touch. The top tray can hold 150 sheets and the 2nd tray can hold 250 sheets (going off of a 80gsm media size in A4 or A3. I hope this helps. Thanks Dan The Printerbase Team
