I need something that can do double-sided print and scan, as well as something cheap to run since I print a lot. I am choosing between EcoTank and Workforce pro, and even though eco tank is no doubt cheaper to run in a long term, I find the WF4745 to be outer-performing EcoTank (that is at this price range) at every other aspects. It comes with adf, double side print and scan, fax (even I dont use), and the printing speed and print out quality is just superb. Of course the ink is more expensive, but then a replacement ink cartridges (around £30) can do around 1k prints, that is actually not bad at all. Therefore, if you are considering to buy an all-in-one home office printer, this is your best bet.

This printer is not only quieter than my previous HP printer, but the print quality is also superior. It also scans at a higher resolution. The only negative is that the double-sided scanning runs the page through twice instead of scanning both sides at the same time. A minor drawback.
