I am replacing my aging but perfectly good Epson Perfection V500 scanner to have one with ADF. The present machine comes with slide and film negative holders for conversion to digital format. Does this machine have the same capability or can i even use the existing holders on this machine?

- Hi Lawrence Thank you for your question. No, the Epson WorkForce DS-1630 does not scan film negatives, or accept the holders from the V500. It does not have the correct transparency unit, or backlight to scan these. Hope this helps Thank you The Printerbase Team
