Had earlier version of this excellent mono laser printer which gave years of valuable high output service before giving up the ghost. Auromatically looked for Kyocera update of that machine and found it in this model. Printerbase price and trouble free delivery added to my overall satisfaction.

If you've used the FS-1370DN before you'll know what good all round workhorse it was. Kyocera have suddenly changed all the numbers so its a little confusing as to what to go for if you want another one. Having bought one of these and sat it next to a FS-1370DN it appears identical apart from the addition of a USB slot on the front. Size and buttons are identical and it uses the same toners. What they should have done was redesign the base so that the paper tray doesn't drag on the desk as it tends to do. A set of slightly bigger rubber feet area all it needs but they haven't changed this aspect unfortunately. That apart its an excellent printer.

The Good- Economical to run and print quality excellent Tech Support first class- I was on the phone to Kyocera for half hour talking me through set up as printer did not come with set up cd. The Bad- Did not come with UK plug(Had to use my own) Lack of CD disappointing as it was extremely frustrating trying to get printer to work

Purchased to replace a Kyocera FS1300D which gave no trouble over 4 years use until a none Kyocera Cartridge used! The set up of the P2135D was easier than in the past and is a seamless set up if the simple instructions are followed e.g. Do not load MS Driver only Kyocera from disc. The printer is relitively compact, easy to load paper and change cartridges and improved with an on/off switch on the front instead of the side. The duplex mode, front loading, power saving and versitility make it a pleasure to use. My past experience of using Kyocera's mean I have not had many problems but the on-line booklet in pdf format is easy to consult and the two blockages due to dodgy paper that caused a problem were very easy to clear.
