Canon Pixma TS9550 A3 Colour Inkjet Multifunction Printer - DISCONTINUED

I needed a printer to print out architect style floor plans in A3 to make it easier to put together Current and Proposed layouts for our Loft Extension. Given that this printer also prints A4, scans and copies, it will be possible sometime to retire my A4 HP LaserJet Printer and my Ricoh Scan Snap scanner. Result!

We have got off to a much better start with this than previous attempts from HP & Epson, which were very unreliable. I only wish Canon made one with A3 scanning and duplex scanning, I would be happy to pay double for it than what we paid for the others.

I chose this printer because I needed to be able to print on CDs. It also prints on A3 paper which is very useful for me. It was easy to install and operate. The print quality is very good too. It is lightweight and compact and not too noisy.

Such a versatile printer and a small footprint for an A3 capable machine. Shame the Canon app is a bit of a pain to use. Best thing about the printer though is the service and support from Printerbase, can’t rate them highly enough.

I've used Canon printers for many years, but first purchase from Printerbase. Wi-fi connection was straight-forward until I came to printing from rear paper feed. Days later I spoke with Lisa Anderson at Printerbase and problem solved, saving any more waste of ink and paper.I admit to being a perfectionist, but I'm happy with my photo printing.

I bought the Canon Pixma after reading reviews from people who use it for their craft projects. I was mainly interested in quality of images and the ability to print on card. It’s superb for printing on card but I’ve found that the quality of the images is poor if using a porous card and so a smooth card must be used. I also used to use word for my card projects but the quality of the printed images when using the Pixma was poor so I had to switch to the Canon software to print images. Took me a while to work it out but I got there in the end. Apart from that setting up the printer was fairly easy and I have no issues with wireless connectivity from either my PC or hand held devices.

I bought the the Pixma TS9550 on Canons recommendation to replace an 11 year old Pixma MG6150. It was straight forward to set up and the prints are good. It has all the functions I need for home printing.

I bought this printer for the ADF and A3 capabilities. I've never had a Canon printer let me down so try to stick with them. This printer produces great quality prints, even at A3 and scans really well. I don't like the Canon software so I use Vuescan, which just works every time. This printer's footprint isn't much bigger than your regular A4 printer, but you have to allow more space at the back if you're printing A3. I've only given it 4 stars for two reasons; 1. It wouldn't join my TP-Link Deco M5 mesh network and 2. It won't scan duplex via the ADF (not as big a problem as it could be, I can join PDF's and move pages around).

Awful quality

Replaced a TR8550 as I needed to print in A3. No regrets at the moment!

Fantastic printer, easy to use, great quality and the borderless printing is perfect!
