Ordering and delivery - excellent next day delivery service for the printer; the USB cable to connect the printer with my home computer arrived a day later, but I had a cable anyway. Printerbase made sure I knew I needed a cable for connection before they despatched the printer. Now on to my G2560 printer. It was very easy to prepare it for set-up; just fill the ink reservoirs with the correct inks if I remember correctly, and then use my existing USB cable to connect the printer to my home computer. Set-up itself was easy - I followed the instructions and it all worked. I didn't use the installation disk as I was able to download all the required software from the Canon website. I am a complete idiot when it comes to things like this, so I should think nearly everybody would find it easy to set up this printer and make it work. Operation - I've printed only a few letters and the print quality was ok. I've also printed an ATOL certificate and that was all right - those have yellow backgrounds for the whole page. The printer is a bit noisy, but that doesn't bother me because I don't print many documents; if I did I'd switch it to quiet mode. As I haven't printed many documents I don't know how long the inks will last, or to what extent the print quality will continue to be OK. I am very pleased with the printer so far.

Negatives: No USB cable included, no Apple software on installation disc. Switches off after short time - have to switch back on and wait to boot up. Noisy. Text quality passable. Positives: Colour images OK. Competitive price. Inks last well.

Results so far are excellent. Great print quality. Too soon to say if ink will last as long as promised. Printer noisy as received but if you select quiet mode it's fine.
