Great: I had so much trouble with my HP that it was a relief to get a printer which works well. One suggestion to potential buyers: make sure you do not need hopper fed scanning 'cos this one doe snot do it; I don't need it! Second, for Canon, I wish it had a fast draft mode rather than 'standard print', to save ink. I often, for a long document, have to change font colour to green or blue to Dave ink!

We ordered this printer from Printerbase as we needed a multifunction machine to replace the Canon MP990 we had. it was fairly easy to set up the wifi connection to our computer and also IOS printing with the available app, However I the decided to use the option of using the direct USB connection to our main computer, and use the wifi simultaneously only for family laptops which as far as I can tell should be possible. however I couldn't get the printer to come on line with the USB connection, and also when this was in use I couldn't access the printer with IOS devices - it was like the wifi option was not available at the same time as using direct connection. This has made the experience so far with this printer very disappointing - I have yet to speak to Canon about it, to be fair they may be able to solve all this for me, but even if they do, I could do without the hassle!
