The Canon imageFORMULA DR-C360 is a compact, high-performance desktop document scanner built for busy offices, branch locations and front-desk environments where space is at a premium. At just 283 mm wide, its ultra-narrow design fits neatly beside a monitor or on a reception counter. It still delivers serious productivity: speeds of up to 60 pages per minute (120 images per minute in duplex) in both colour and mono, a 100-sheet automatic document feeder, and a suggested daily volume of 7,500 to 13,000 scans make it a dependable workhorse for everyday digitisation.

Versatility is one of the DR-C360’s biggest strengths. It handles a wide range of media in a single workflow, from thin paper and glossy prints to card stock up to 413 g/m², business cards, plastic and embossed ID cards, and long documents up to 6,096 mm. Passports up to 4 mm thick can be scanned directly without a carrier sheet, so it’s ideal for customer onboarding, applications and identity checks. Ultrasonic double-feed detection and a double-feed release function keep batches moving reliably and help ensure no page is missed.

Image quality and smart processing come as standard. Canon’s Active Threshold, Colour Emphasis and Document with Photo Mode features produce clear, accurate scans first time, reducing the need to rescan. The included CaptureOnTouch Pro software adds OCR for searchable and editable PDFs. It saves to formats including PDF, PDF/A, TIFF, JPEG, PNG and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and can send files straight to popular cloud services. Barcode and 2D code recognition automatically separates and names files, which cuts down on manual sorting.

Day-to-day use is simple. The scanner connects via a reversible USB-C port (USB-C to USB-A is also supported), and raised buttons with a clear, icon-led display make it easy for anyone to operate. For IT teams, the DR-Management Tool allows several scanners to be monitored and managed remotely. With low power consumption, reusable and biodegradable packaging, and a replaceable roller kit that extends the scanner’s working life, the DR-C360 is a practical and sustainable choice for any modern business.
