The DR-F120 gives you complete flexibility to scan a wide range of materials despite its compact body size and small footprint. The straight-through ADF path accommodates A4-width documents, and media of up to 1,000mm in length. You’ll enjoy increased reliability and time-savings when scanning mixed documents as a result of the separation roller in the feeding mechanism. The flatbed scanner is ideal for handling media like books, passports or magazines, and effortlessly captures pages up to legal size. It’s equally at home with photos or other thick, thin and delicate documents.

After a lot of investigation I bought the Canon ImageFORMULA DR-F120 and I am very pleased with it. Strengths - quick double sided scan in one pass, clear good quality image, provides searchable pdf's, about the same price as its competitor machines and quicker for double sided scans due to its two image sensors weaknesses - packaged scanning software only provides basic scanning (but the machine works well with Paperport if you have that), no network interface - only a USB connection to a main computer If you already have software and don't need a network connection this is definitely the flat bed scanner to go for - and Printerbase has the best price at the moment - I recommend Gordon Webb

3 months on, and after a lot of use .... fantastic product. initial views stand. at one point a slight "streak" started to appear on the outputs. but with a bit of research on the support site etc, I was able to simply clean the right part and all was back to normal.

Well priced. The document feed is very good. The set up once understood is also time-saving when copying a batch for example. Has saved me hours. The option to copy one side only (Simplex) or two sides (duplex) or Miss a blank page; is also really useful.
