The back paper tray doesn't work. I should've returned it but instead had an engineer come over only for him to tell me to avoid the back paper tray. Then there's the wifi setting, man, it's fiddly! After we had our modem upgraded, it never really worked again and EVERY time I want to print, have to set printer up from scratch. It does print good quality B&W.

It took about an hour to set up, printing is antiquate but not brilliant, automatic switching between A4 and A3 is nice. My biggest complaint is having to reset its date time and WiFi settings every time I switch it on. I contacted Brother and they say it has to be left on to keep its setting over night. My other wireless Brother does not need this so I will be returning this printer and looking for a replacement.

A great printer. I have to say the picture quality isn't as good as the HP one I had before it but for the price I think it is a fantastic printer. I use it for work and so far it has been great. All functions are very easy to use. I am giving it a 4/5 not a 5/5 purely because of the picture print quality but don't get me wrong the print quality is still very good just not excellent.

I did a lot of research before buying this printer. It ticks ALL the boxes - A3 print/copy/scan. Ethernet connection. WiFi. AirPrint capability (which is SO useful). Build quality is good and it's not too big considering it's A3 capable. Print quality is good (I also have a Samsung Laser and it nearly matches that) and the photo prints are totally acceptable on photo-paper. I use a Mac with OS X Mavericks 10.9 and had to download the software from Brother as the included CD was not OS X 10.9 compatible. If you read everything through before installing it works. Getting the ability to "scan to" a network computer from the Printer took a bit of head scratching but I got there eventually. Overall I am VERY pleased with this machine. One of the newer models available and Mac compatible.

I was searching for an affordable A3 printer and scanner and came across to Brother MFC-J6920DW. Although there are not much reviews of it in the internet as the product is still new, I went ahead and bought it base largely on the good reviews from its older version. Setting up and installing the software are pretty much straight forward. And speed of printing is quite good too. For the quality of prints, I should say is ok for me, and it does the job fine. Haven't tried the best quality print or the borderless print though, as I bought it less then a month ago. The feature that I really like is the NFC function, where I can just directly print from an NFC enabled device, via placing the device on the left of the screen.

What is the bleed through like for double sided printing on standard 80gsm paper?

- Good Morning Paul, Thank you for your question regarding the brother J6920DW. I can confirm that for standard office documents that contain a mix of text and small graphics/images that bleed through the page is not an issue on a duplex document, nor is ink bleed in general. The only issue you would experience on lighter media is if you print large photographs, where the paper would get over-saturated and warp because of the moisture level. For general printing though, 80gsm media is fine. Best Regards, Grace Printer Expert
