Brother MFC-J4340DW A4 Colour Inkjet Multifunction Printer - DISCONTINUED

To be honest This was not my first choice printer, but HP's woeful performance with a new out the box printer purchased directly, was going to leave me without a printer for over 2 weeks when it arrived faulty. I wanted a printer with an internal paper feed tray so this narrowed down the contenders, I didn't want to spend vast fortunes for a convenience printer for the house, this also narrowed down the contenders. So having read good reviews for this printer, I decided to give it a go and am delighted that I did, initial set up was straight forward although I did have to manually input the wifi password, the screen and input buttons could be easier to use, but will not get much use as everything is controlled through the Brother app, as a document printer it is lightning fast with good quality text, the copier and scanner work well for my needs, I occasionally print egg box labels on plain paper and am happy with them, only one thing that I might mention is that it might not be the quietest printer but does not apply to me as it is in a small box room, all in all I am more than happy with this printer and with Printerbase

This printer was straightforward to set up and the printing and scanning process is very easy and quick. This is a big step up from the Hewlett Packard printer (not purchased at Printerbase) I was using which was virtually incompatible with a PC. Overall, I'm very happy with the printer. The customer service was much better than I'm used to which was an unexpected but welcome surprise. I would order from Printerbase in the future.

Excellent printer great services

Although I have only had this printer a short while it is proving to be very good in terms of performance, quality and value, for money. I was able to easily install it and have it working wirelessly and connected to other family members even though I am not tech savvy at all! It prints quickly and double-sided which was a key facility I wanted. It produced a high quality print on photographic paper too. I appreciate the customer care of the team at 'printerbase'...very helpful in choosing the right printer and follow-up after sales check to see that everything is OK. Would recommend this company and the printer I bought!

I have just put the printer through printing around 8,000 pages in less than a week. The printer did its job precisely as requested. Very occasionally, the paper feed took two sheets of paper but after hours of continuous printing I am not surprised. A pleasure also having high capacity print cartridges. The only minor issue, nothing to do with the printer but with regulations, is the record of estimated remaining ink. The ISO standard, which is the default, is woefully inaccurate. The printer can provide a usage-based estimate , which is far more accurate. No I know. I would highly recommend this printer, and printerbase, whose service has been very pleasing indeed. they called me prior to shipping to make sure my order met my needs.

Has facilities I haven’t used like fax and scanning. Prints well in b/w and colour but not as quiet when printing as a laser printer, lots of clunks and clicks but I’ve got used to this now and it stopped being a surprise! Double printing is a bonus

Excellent product delivered very quickly ahead of time. Will be much more economical on ink compared with cheaper models, Very fast printing speed and very good document feeder for scanning. Software takes a long time to install but runs very simply.

It's a little bit of a pain to set up, but it does the job very nicely. Print quality is very decent.
