I was fed up with cleaning the heads on my Epson inkjet. I know it was cheap, but still.... This LED colour printer is great. Warms up quickly, fast printing and the print quality is excellent as a home or small office printer.

if you need a colour printer for printing standard office documents with the bonus of wifi wnd duplex then this could be your answer, This is NOT your printer if you want to print great colour photos it does print photos Ok but not to a standard you wpuld want tp put in a frame. Color matching is very good and it reproduces on screen colour very well. I found it very easy to set up. Remember it is a large heavy machine so make sure you have space and a strong shelf

I bought this printer to replace an inkjet. It needed some care and concentration in setting up but worked perfectly first time. Print quality and features are impressive for the price. Toner replacements are expensive but, in the long run, still much better value than an inkjet for a medium user like myself. Software is a bit basic but adaqaute. Overall, I'm very pleased with it and would recommend it to others.

I use Linux Mint 18 on a 64-bit desktop computer. Do you have a driver for this Brother Colour Laser Printer ?? And will you take back this printer & toner cartiriges if such a driver does not work ?? Thank you.

- Hi Mike, Thanks for you question. Brother do supply a Linux drivers for this model which can be found here. Unfortunately, our knowledge of specific Linux versions is limited and so I couldn't say for certain it will work with your exact version. However, I could recommend speaking directly to the Brother technical team before purchasing as they will be in a position to advise if it is suitable, that would avoid the need to return the device in the event it is not supported.
