For the price you can't go wrong. Once I set my documents to print on the highest quality the quality was good enough. Not amazing but for this price very good. Prints onto thick 100gsm paper really well and also 120gsm envelopes. The unit is large but for the office it is fine. Deep sleep mode consumes .6 of a watt in power and wakes as soon as you send a document. Saves a lot of turning on and off.

Amazing value for the quality of print. You could easily pay three times as much. Too early to say anything about its long-term running costs, which of course is crucial, but in terms of purchase price, very affordable. Wireless connectivity with Android devices is sometimes frustrating, but that's very much to do with the Android OS, not the printer. Some apps on phone or tablet work satisfactorily but printing a web page, for example, is often inconveniently difficult, even if you are using Chrome. Cloud printing works best, on the whole. Finally, it needs its designated space: in my rather cramped circumstances, it has occasionally told me that its temperature is unhealthily high, but since it's next to a radiator, no surprise. All in all, I'm delighted with it.

We recommend you register the device when you receive it with Brother so they have your details in case you need their support during the warranty period.
