Ricoh prove they’re getting it right with ever-growing list of awards…

Having bestowed an abundance of awards and accreditations, Ricoh’s contribution to the printer manufacturing industry is widely recognised amongst a number of organisations and bodies.

From their firm principles in environmentally-friendly business to their highly regarded employee values, Ricoh’s honourable ideologies have been celebrated duly.

While Ricoh may not be the most well-known printer brand out there, the principles of its staff and the high quality goods they produce deserve to be acclaimed.

So, in this post, we’re going to share with you all of Ricoh’s accreditations and awards, so you can learn a little more about this brilliant organisation.

Princess Royal Learning Award

In August 2016, Ricoh bagged the prestigious Princess Royal Learning Award for their four-tier leadership programme. Ricoh was one of only 33 other companies that successfully met the standard set by the rigorous assessment designed by the City and Guilds.

Setting them apart from other organisations of the same size, Ricoh value the importance of investing in and developing their staff in order to realise their full potential and engagement of their employees.

Living Wage Foundation

Ricoh UK Ltd is an accredited provider of ‘The Living Wage’, which offers employees a significantly higher salary than those who are paid the UK minimum wage. Each year, The Living Wage is reviewed and reset in order to ensure that those in lower-paid positions are still receiving a sufficient income that allows them to live satisfactorily without the need for a second income.

BITC – Responsible Business Awards 2015

As part of the 2015 Responsible Business Awards, Ricoh submitted entries into two categories – ‘Inspiring Young Talent’ and ‘Sustainable Products and Services’. Ricoh attained ‘shortlisted’ status in the category for Inspiring Young Talent Award, establishing their efforts in working with ex-offenders and developing apprenticeship schemes. And for the category of Sustainable Products and Services Award, Ricoh earnt ‘Finalist’ status among 4 other companies, having been recognised for their continued holistic approach to reducing the environmental impact of products and services.

BITC – CR Index

Ricoh UK Ltd is identified in the ‘Business in the Community’ (BITC) yearly benchmark of responsible business, the ‘Corporate Responsibility Index’ (CR Index). In the 2015 CR Index, Ricoh achieved an admirable 4-star rating, scoring an impressive 97%. This score demonstrates an impressive 34% increase since the organisation first participated in the CR Index back in 2010.

It’s clear to see that the professionals at Ricoh are true experts within the printing industry. But, as with anything else, if you want to see how good these printers really are, you’ll have to try them for yourself.
