The Canon PIXMA G1520 & G550 are two of the cheapest InkTank Printers on the market. The InkTank printers are also known as the MegaTank. Canon InkTank printers are known for slightly high upfront but low running costs with a full set of inks able print up to 8,000 4×6 size photos, currently costing just under £70 ex VAT. On the outside, the PIXMA G550 shares a lot of similarities with the PIXMA G1520. A stylish, desk-sized build with a no-nonsense approach.

Designed with photos and graphics in mind. The PIXMA G550 has six inks, the standard Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Pigment-Black but with the new inclusion of a Red, and Grey to provide a wider colour gamut and enhance the Mono printing capability.
Having the additional inks allows this printer to rival the likes of middle-range Photo printers, from the Epson SureColor and Canon PIXMA ranges.
