Kyocera ECOSYS series to support Apple AirPrint

Kyocera have announced that their ECOSYS printer range will now fully support Apple AirPrint wireless printing for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Printers such as the ECOSYS FS-4300DN, FS-4200DN, FS-4100DN and FS-2100DN will all be supported by AirPrint – making printing that bit easier!

What is AirPrint?

AirPrint allows users to print photos, emails, web pages and documents wirelessly without installing any device drivers. This delivers a simple, easy mobile solution for small business owners, on-the-go executives and professionals.

Kyocera have said that they intend to expand their range of printers and multifunctional products that support AirPrint, with the aim being to meet the demand of wider business printing solutions.

According to IDC, Kyocera have the largest coverage of their hardware segments and along with the HyPAS customisation software, AirPrint reinforces the commitment shown to providing similar depth in the software solutions offered.

To gain AirPrint support, a printer firmware update may be required. AirPrint mobile functionality requires any iPad model, iPhone 3G2 or later or iPod Touch 3rd gen or later, running the latest version of iOS.
