We’re sure plenty were the subject of the pranks this April Fools day, however, those over at ThinkGeek may have beaten the lot with their Play-Doh 3D Printer trick.
We’ve all seen the stories on 3D Printing recently and ThinkGeek played on it perfectly to trick many into believing that there is a 3D Play-Doh printer especially for children.
Described as “a great introductory 3D printer for you or your kids”, the fake product was believable enough for some and, with iPad connectivity, it seemed like a real opportunity to make the first steps into 3D printing. Well played, ThinkGeek!
