After a bumper month of sales in March 2011, here is an insight into our top selling printers and MFP’s.
A4 Mono Laser Printer
It’s no surprise that the Samsung ML-1665 was our top seller at only £49.00ex VAT, while stocks last. With its compact design and speedy 16 pages per minute it’s ideal for use as a low volume personal desktop laser. High speed USB connectivity and support for all the latest operating systems (including Windows 7) makes this machine suitable for every type of user. This is by far one of the best deals on the market, which is why it’s our Best Buy entry level mono laser printer.
In second place was the higher end Brother HL-5350DN A4 mono laser printer. The Brother HL-53xx range has proved to be very reliable and is packed full of features, such as duplex printing (double-sided) at no extra cost. Brother include the common interfaces such as network and USB connectivity but surprisingly also includes a parallel port (and PCL language), making this fully DOS compatible. Why not read our online customer rating, which to date has earned this machine a 5 star rating?

A4 Colour Laser Printers
Top of the list for A4 colour lasers is the Samsung CLP-320 printer, this was mainly due to special price promotion that was running throughout March, the price has now gone back up but it still represents good value for an entry level A4 colour laser printer.
Currently our lowest priced A4 colour laser printer is the Konica Minolta 1600W at only £69.99ex VAT and you can claim a Free 3 year warranty as well.
Xerox Phaser 6125n
Another entry level machine worth consideration is the Xerox Phaser 6125n, which was our second best seller. Although not quite as cheap as the CLP-320 or 1600W, it has a far superior print speed and produces wonderful print quality. Network connectivity comes as standard, making it ideal for a small home of office workgroup.
Multifunction Printers – Mono MFP
These machines are flying out, mainly due to the fact that we have negotiated an exclusive deal with Samsung! A4 mono laser MFP that will print, fax, scan and copy along with built-in wireless and wired networking all for just £109.00ex VAT!
Another best selling Samsung again is the SCX-4825FN, which is more suited to heavier use than the SCX-4623FW, with more features including duplex printing, Fax forwarding to email and better running costs.
Colour Laser MFP
It’s easy to see why this is a top selling MPF with £140 off the normal price. The X543dn is an A4 colour laser MFP that will print, copy and scan (no fax) and has a superb 1200×1200 dpi resolution for high quality printouts. Automatic duplex printing comes as standard to save paper and the network interface makes this ideal for any busy office trying to reduce their carbon footprint.

Another best seller for March was the DCP-9055CDN, again an MFP that will print, scan and copy but no fax. The Brother MFP’shave proved to be a big hit with our customers mainly due to their high specifications and reliability. Most of the Brother colour laser multifunction printers have promotions in them until 31st May 2011.
Our best selling InkJet MFP has been the Brother MFC-6490CW, which is currently only £139.00ex VAT. This machine does full A3 printing, scanning, copying and faxing, has two paper trays and includes wired and wireless network connectivity. Unbelievable value for money, no wonder they have been flying out of the door.
Our second best selling InkJet MFP in March was the Brother MFC-J415W, which is a great compact desktop MFP that will print, scan, copy and fax. It features USB and wireless connections, as well as functions such as scan to email and a 4.8cm colour easy-to-use LCD screen plus it’s great for printing out photos.
