Kyocera devices to support Google Cloud Print

Kyocera have revealed that a selected range of their printers and multifunction devices will now support Google Cloud Print.

Google Cloud Print is a service that allows you to print directly from smartphones, tablets, laptops and other devices to any cloud-connected printer, removing the need to install printer drivers beforehand.

With Google Cloud Print capabilities, Kyocera’s devices will now make it simple for users to access their documents wherever they are based.

Kyocera have added Google Cloud Print to their printers in response to the increasing demand from users wanting to print from their smartphones and tablets for a flexible printing approach.

“We all know that more work than ever before is done on the move, so digital workflow is more important than ever,” said Hans-Gerd Schmidt, product manager at Kyocera Document Solutions Europe.

“Our customers need to have the same access to documents and print capability on mobile devices as they do on their desktops. Google Cloud Print gives that control and flexibility without the need for expensive infrastructure.”

The addition of Google Cloud Print brings a whole host of benefits to businesses, enabling employees to have total access to their documents at all times – saving vital time and significantly improving workflow.

For example, the service makes it possible for users to send print jobs to the office printer, even when they are out of the office.  Fast, flexible and simple to use – ideal for any forward-thinking business.
