Kyocera launches new HyPAS apps for SMEs

KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd, announces the launch of its latest HyPAS apps – Login Manager, PinPoint Scan and Print & Follow – designed and priced to meet the secure printing and scanning needs of UK SMEs.

Sarah White, Kyocera’s Product Marketing Manager, said: “These new HyPAS apps offer real enhancements to SOHO and SME businesses by improving the way in which everyone in the company, however small, uses and shares their documents. Smaller businesses can now benefit from the type of solutions which larger organisations use on a daily basis.

“Each app has been designed with SMEs in mind so affordability and accessibility were key factors taken into consideration. Login Manager offers serverless user authentication while PinPoint Scan and Print & Follow securely enhance scan and print personalisation from HyPAS enabled KYOCERA MFPs over a network.”

Login Manager is a FREE app which provides the truly small business user (SOHO) with an authentication service. Login Manager can lock down a KYOCERA printer and ensure secure printing with its serverless user authentication. Available from, Login Manager is easy to download, very user friendly and integrates easily with all other HyPAS apps, including the popular SMARTScan and Mail2Me.

PinPoint Scan takes the hassle out of scanning from an MFP to a personal PC by creating a peer-to-peer scanning environment. With no need for any IT admin intervention, users can scan from any KYOCERA MFP in their network by entering a personal PIN they select themselves on the MFP’s intuitive control panel and scan directly to the selected destination. Each user can define their personal scanning destinations improving document workflow, ending time spent searching email for scanned documents and incurring costly desktop scanners.

Print & Follow requires a Manager licence and a licence for each Client and delivers accessible and affordable secure printing. There is no need for a costly print server which makes Print & Follow perfect for SMEs who don’t want to spend on a print server and wish to benefit from reduced printing waste and the associated costs.

Designed to improve SME productivity, Print & Follow’s one-touch operation is very user-friendly and means users can control precisely where they want scanned documents to go. Documents are sent to a universal queue and users retrieve their documents at their choice of MFP where they stay secure until the user is authenticated.
