OKI announce that they are to introduce an extended range of their OKI MX8000 printers.
The OKI MX8000 printers are designed for applications requiring high-volume, multi-part forms printing and, for the first time, the upgraded OKI MX8000 Series will include a desktop version, putting high-performance line printing on the desktop - a perfect option where office space is limited.
The OKI MX8000 Series is targeted at sectors with a requirement to produce high-volume, multi-part forms with low running costs, forms flexibility and reliability. These include warehousing and logistics, financial institutions, automotive, retail and other environments with mission-critical back-office printing needs.
"The new MX8000 Series is based on advanced high-impact print technology and takes line printing to a new level of performance," says Peter Dresser, product marketing manager, OKI Europe, "combining robust design with user flexibility and low running costs."
The OKI MX8000 Series replaces the MX1000 CRB Series and incorporates significant product enhancements. These include a new user interface with larger LCD screen, graphical display and intuitive menu navigation for improved user experience.
The new OKI printers are quieter with increased sound-proofing and enable fast ribbon changes and easy paper loading, making the new printers simpler to use. The OKI MX8000 Series also offers a range of print speeds, product variants and paper feed options to meet a wide variety of business requirements.
In addition to the new desktop line printers, which are available in both 500 and 1,000 lines per minute versions, the OKI MX8000 Series provides easy-to-move pedestal variants for maximum office flexibility. These include Zero Tear variants, designed for customers printing large amounts of short print runs or single sheet jobs, when it is important not to lose forms between print tasks; for example when printing cheques, pay slips or tickets. Additionally, Cabinet versions are available keeping noise to a minimum - perfect for office environments.
"OKI has over 50 years of experience in the impact printer industry," confirms Terry Kawashima, managing director, OKI Europe. "The MX8000 Series builds on this outstanding heritage, offering a range of line printers which bring together proven trouble-free reliability, best-in-class performance and outstanding value for money."
