Fujitsu recently rebranded to Ricoh. This means any recently purchased Fujitsu scanners will be branded Ricoh. It’s good to know. Nothing has changed, but the name. The underlying Fujitsu scan technology, manufacturing and service remain the same. According to Ricoh, “We will deliver the same quality products and service you’ve come to expect. Nothing is changing but the name”. And we at Printerbase have not noticed any difference.

To help you prepare, we’ve outlined which Fujitsu scanners are not compatible with Windows 11, along with the recommended Ricoh replacements, such as the Ricoh fi-8170, for businesses that need fast, reliable and future-proof scanning.

Microsoft will be ending support for Windows 10 in October. While the Operating System will still be usable by current users, there will be no future updates.
