The Brother DCP-7030 multifunction laser printer has now gone end of life and there are two replacement models:
Brother DCP-7055 – 2ppm slower than the DCP-7030 but benefits from a lower price point
Brother DCP-7060D – 2ppm quicker and has two-sided printing for a similar price point as the DCP-7030

I’m considering this printer or a brother 2270dw. Can you or anyone else explain the benefits of each?

The Brother DCP-7030 is now discontinued. It’s also a multifunction printer, copier and scanner whereas the HL-2270DW is only a printer.
