Manufacturer Warranty Information

Printerbase like to ensure that buying a new machine is a hassle-free experience. However, as with everything in life there is always a chance that the unexpected can happen.

All printers come with a free 1 year warranty and most of these are on-site. We are pleased to see an increasing number of manufacturers now giving a 3 year on-site warranty at no extra cost. Please make sure to register your printer to activate the warranty.


Here is a brief summary of each manufacturer's standard warranty policy:

Definitions


On-Site warranties give complete peace of mind as everything is covered by the manufacturer at no cost to the end user. If an on-site engineer is required this will also be arranged free of charge.

On-site exchange warranties mean that rather than sending an engineer the manufacturer will send the customer a new / refurbished machine or ship the part needed if simple to fit. The faulty machine will be collected at no cost to the customer.

 

 


Off-site repair warranties mean that rather than sending an engineer the manufacturer will collect the machine at their own expense, fix it and ship it back.


RTB (Return-to-Base) warranties give customers free phone support but may require them to ship the machine back to the manufacturer for repair at their own expense if necessary.
