The printer does exactly what it is supposed too, takes a little while to fire up, once your aware of that prints good. Replaced my Pixma 4500 that died.
the printer takes a it of time to start up when you press print, but in all its brilliant printer, its idea for the kids to use to send there homework too, whether its via the ipad or the laptop.
For 22 years I have always used Canon printers from an S200, an S400 - which is still functioning, an ip4300 and an ip4500 which gave great service for 5 years.
The ip7250 is a retrograde step. Who wants to change a cassette to print one envelope? .The absence of a rear feed limits the size of paper that can be used, the paper feed rollers can't handle anything less than 15 x 10 cm.
Roller marks are clearly evident when printing photographs.
The included software has thus far failed to recognise or allow connection to the Canon scanner.
And who really wants 1.8Gb of bloatware - the scanner driver alone is shown as being 789Mb
The print quality is the usual Canon high standard, functionality, features and ease of use is abysmal.
Print quality excellent and features are efficient. Somewhat frustrated at the extra programs, they took forever to load and do not offer me anything extra to use That I haven't got already.. Have therefore uninstalled hem. But the printer itself is very good, delivery was n time and I'm a happy bunny.
