Need help choosing an OKI A4 Colour printer?

Are you looking for an A4 colour printer but find the Oki range confusing? Perhaps you want Network, but not Duplex and require PostScript but would prefer to buy a low-cost machine. I want you to find your ideal printer, so I’ve put together this simple guide which should help you do just that.

	OKI C110 This machine is Windows compatible only and I would recommend it for single users wishing to replace a home or business inkjet with a printer that can give more professional looking printouts. This machine isn't the cheapest to run so I would only recommend printing up to 500 pages of general office documents per month.			OKI C130n This is a networked version of the C110 and is suitable for home or small offices with 2-3 users. Furthermore, this version includes PostScript, allowing for complete compatibility on Windows, Apple Mac and Linux. This machine isn't the cheapest to run so I would only recommend printing up to 500 pages of general office documents per month.

	OKI C301dn The OKI C301dn printer is the first model in OKI’s range that utilises their straight-through LED technology. We think that this machine will handle most printing requirements since it comes complete with double-sided print as standard, is able to accept paper sizes up to 1320mm long and will print on paper weights of up to 220gsm! For light use, this machine is ideal but for the more demanding user, we recommend moving up the OKI range to benefit from lower ongoing running costs. I recommend a print volume of up to 750 pages per month.			OKI C321dn Identical to the OKI C301dn but this machine uses the industry standard PostScript and PCL languages, assuring current and future operating system compatibility. Processing PostScript or PCL print jobs is quite demanding so OKI have increased the amount of onboard memory and included a more powerful processor compared with the C301dn. I recommend a print volume of up to 750 pages per month.

	OKI C511dn Building on the success of the OKI C510dn machine, the new C511dn offers a 4 page per minute print speed increase and a new energy saving feature called “Auto-Off Mode”. Simply put, when connected via USB, this machine will turn itself off after a predetermined idle time and use less than half a watt of energy. To wake it up, simply push the green button on the front of the machine. I recommend a print volume of up to 2000 pages per month. 	OKI C610 series Colour printing doesn’t get much quicker than this. Built to be a robust workhorse machine, capable of handling various media including up to 220gsm from all trays and 250gsm from the multipurpose feeder. Printerbase recommends a duty cycle of up to 3500 pages per month.			OKI C711 series This is almost the same as the C610 except the standard input and output trays will hold an additional 100 sheets. The C711 toners are larger than any other OKI A4 colour printer, giving you the lowest cost per copy possible. The C711 is best for users printing between 5,000 and 10,000 general office documents per month.
