Hi – thanks for getting in touch.

We have tried this with your document size on the Brother MFC-J5720DW and, unfortunately, it does not allow you to print on a custom size of 297mm x 594mm.

If you’d like a printer that prints to your custom size, then the OKI C822n is an option – you can find it here: https://www.printerbase.co.uk/acatalog/oki-c822-printer.php

If there’s anything else we can help you with, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Regards,

Printerbase.

Hi I’m looking at buying a printer for making waterslide decals. Is the print quality good on A3 as well as A4. The colour accuracy must be good, with no lines or imperfections. I have a Brother 9120CN printer and it has been great, so I would like to buy another one of their machines. If they do another machine that would be better for doing waterslides what would you suggest?

Hi Kevin – thanks for getting in touch.

For your specific needs, we would recommend either the Brother MFC-L9550CDWT Colour Laser MFP or the Brother MFC-L8850CDW Colour Laser MFP.

Both of these machines are multifunction laser devices that deliver high-quality prints and will work for waterslide decals.

Check out the devices below:

Brother MFC-L8850CDW: https://www.printerbase.co.uk/acatalog/brother-mfc8850cdw-printer.php

Hope this helps! Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Regards.
