About Us
It’s been seven years since Printerbase Limited first sprung into the world. Set up by Peter Knight in 2003, his aim from day one was to be a printer specialist, with a firm ethos of value and excellent customer service at its heart.
Peter’s motivation was the lack of good advice available; he found it very difficult to find a printer supplier who specialised in printers. Sales people sold the latest models or whatever they had in stock not taking into consideration his needs.
That’s when he founded Printerbase with a mission to enable businesses of all shapes and sizes to find the best device for their needs and take control of what they print. That meant helping them uncover all the hidden costs too, and aiding firms to ultimately create a much more cost-efficient print environment.
Seven years later, a long list of satisfied customers and a thriving business suggests that Peter’s objectives have been, and continue to be, very firmly met.
Business Relationships
Printerbase first developed relationships with OKI Print Solutions and Xerox in 2003 and in 2004 was awarded by Xerox the ‘IT Reseller of the Year’ for “outstanding contribution to the Xerox business”.

We now work very closely with a broad selection of manufacturing partners (Printerbase is listed as an authorised online reseller and printer specialist on large printer manufacturer websites such as Xerox, Brother, Lexmark, Samsung, Konica Minolta, OKI, Kyocera and more), and has developed strong relationships with them over the past years.
People
As the company has grown so has the team of people here at Printerbase. Majority of the staff have been here for many years but new members have fitted in seamlessly. Printerbase offers the kind of work environment you’d expect from a small and friendly firm, and does this in spite of having a massive online presence.
Future
An area where Printerbase is particularly strong is in helping business manage their print costs, and cut down on their waste. As the firm we believe environmental issues and reducing unnecessary expenditure is high on the list of challenges facing everyone in business. With a high number of customers considering it ‘very important’ that IT suppliers have green offerings and the majority of businesses cutting costs, these topics are too important to ignore. |
